I own several Polaroid cameras (mostly SX70’s) that sometimes work, but more often don’t- and also Polaroid pictures that I’ve made through the years. There’s just something about a scene (person, place, or object) created as a singular vignette— a stand-alone narrative rendered in dreamy serendipitous colors, made in an instant— that I find so appealing. I’ll start with this one I made just the other day, with Polaroid’s Reclaimed Blue film, and add from there.
