On the Airwaves!
I've now returned from the Northwest Alt Process Symposium, in beautiful Astoria, Oregon, and I had so much fun. And I met so many great people. Everything went very smoothly. The entire event was organized so well, thanks to the incredible Michael and Chelsea Granger, from Lightbox Photographic, and also Craig Huber, from the Northwest Pacifica Chapter of the Center for Photographic History and Technology. I learned a lot, too, from the other presenters, and I saw some amazing work at the print-sharing. Having the opportunity to meet all these alt process photographers/printers whose work I've long admired was a real treat. We also had a blind print exchange, which was another highlight of the weekend.
I have images that I will upload shortly. Meanwhile, three of us (Doug Ethridge, Bill Vaccaro, and I) who were Symposium presenters were interviewed on the local radio station, KMUN, by the Arts Live & Local host, Carol Newman.
